If you're anything like me, you're probably really broke and wanting to eat healthily. I have figured out how to achieve this on a tight budget, and I hope I can inspire you to do the same!
Let's break the myth that
healthy = expensive!
Nut Bark

Nut Bark

We absolutely love anything cheap & easy that can be made in bulk.
Thats why we LOVE this recipe - enjoyed as a snack or added to meals for extra flavour, its a winner errrytime!

Here's what you'll need:
Coconut Oil
1/2 Packet of Mixed Nuts
5 Tablespoons of Coconut Chips
2 Tablespoons of Coconut Sugar  
3 Tablespoons of Rice Malt Syrup
3 Teaspoons of Cinnamon
*Option to add chia seeds or whatever else you have in your pantry


What to do:
Preheat oven to 200 degrees.
Crush the nuts with a knife and put into a bowl.
Add in the coconut chips and mix through.
Add the coconut sugar, rice malt syrup, cinnamon & anything else you want.
Mix together until the ingredients have combined into a sticky mess.
Grease a baking tray with coconut oil.
Add mixture to the tray and bake for 15 - 20 minutes at 200 degrees.
When its done cooking, take it out of the oven and let it col for 5 minutes.
Put the tray in the freezer so that it becomes hard and you can snap it into pieces.
Break it apart and put it on top of your dessert, breakfast, pancakes or just eat as a snack
You can store in the fridge or freezer (we prefer freezer because it will keep longer)
*WARNING - Nut Bark is highly addictive, so be sure to flex that self control muscle!!!
